Phoenix specialise in catering for weddings throughout Munster. Playing from a vast repertoire of music, the band can include favourite songs from every genre and era, with hits from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and 00’s, right through to the most up to date chart topping hits of today.

The band can also play a selection of waltzes, jives and rock ‘n roll, ensuring that just about everybody, regardless of age or musical taste, will be catered for. Phoenix tailor the set-list for each and every wedding to suit your theme and musical preferences.

No wedding day would be complete without a first dance for the newlyweds, and so Phoenix offer to play your chosen song live, and will work closely with you to get the song and the arrangement just right.

Phoenix perform all music and vocals live, no backing tracks, which sets the group apart from many of the other wedding bands throughout the country.

As well as Margaret, the lead vocalist of the band, Liam (electric guitar) and Shane (bass guitar) also sing, which allows for a variety of styles and songs, along with some amazing harmonies.

Set Up

We normally arrive to the venue at 8.30pm, aiming to start for 9.30pm, depending on meal and speeches, as every wedding is different. From the time we have access to the stage, it’s a 45 minute setup time.

First Dance

The first dance at each wedding is a special and cherished moment. With 6 weeks notice to allow for rehearsal, we will be delighted to perform your chosen song, making that special moment all the more memorable.

Repertoire

With the diverse age group at a wedding, we understand that a broad musical repertoire is required to cater for everybody’s taste, and ensure that all will find the performance highly entertaining.

Wedding Package Details

Phoenix offer two wedding packages for clients – Band Only or Band and DJ. Please note that our DJ service is not just a playlist of songs on a CD or iPod. We provide a professional live DJ as part of our ‘Band and DJ’ package, who will take requests and tailor the set accordingly, with songs to suit you.

After an initial consultation with the band, a Booking Form is emailed to each client, outlining the details for your wedding (date, venue, times, fees, etc). A booking deposit of €400 is then required to confirm a wedding booking for Phoenix.
